SYMPHONY OF LIFE is a Broadway style musical in the spirit of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT with a universal “love your neighbor” message. Set in ancient Jerusalem when Rome rules over Judea, the original script, music and lyrics bring to life an entertaining story of Joel, a Jewish tax collector, who abuses his power and authority as he collects taxes from his fellow Jews. He is attacked in retribution, and his subsequent experience as he heals in body and mind is a modern interpretation of the parable of the Good Samaritan found in the New Testament. The plot blends spiritual messages and biblical values with intrigue, misjudgments and humor as the story of Joel’s change of heart unfolds and he comes to understand who his neighbors truly are.

Arranged and orchestrated by Emmy-award winning Composer, Kurt Bestor, SYMPHONY OF LIFE will soon be available as both a licensed musical with performance materials (reproducible script, vocal score, orchestral score, piano score, and accompaniment mp3s/backing track) for churches, schools, and community theater groups, and as an interactive illustrated novel and soundtrack with full vocals by singers such as Lexi Walker, Dallyn Bayles and David Osmond.
